I was contacted by Scentuals Body Care By Nature a Canadian company, out of British Columbia. Scentuals Body Care offers a wide variety of products, ranging from bath and body care, hair care, face and lip care and much more. “Our goal at Scentuals is to provide the finest quality, affordable bath & body care which adds to your well being while delighting your senses.” Boy, did they delight my senses!

Owner, Mai Mowrey produced Scentuals Body care after her brother was stricken with illness.

A little about Mowrey:

Pink Grapefruit – 100% Natural Hand & Body Lotion Description:

“Grapefruit will energize and uplift the spirit as well as tone and assist in removing toxins by increasing circulation as it tones skin cells.”

My Thoughts: This lotion is bursting with citrus! My skin was left soft and not irritated. I also applied product to my children’s skin which is sensitive and it did not break them out. The scent lasted a couple of hours, which was great when I needed a boost of energy! A great product full of amazing ingredients.

White Cranberry – Natural Hand & Body Lotion Description:

“The sweet scent of cranberries with the energizing zing of lemons; A fresh and fruity scent that is sure to please! With Non-greasy formula.”

My Thoughts: This lotion is like Christmas in a bottle! Sweet aromas of cranberry/citrus intoxicate your senses. The scent smells lovely in the bottle, but unfortunately the scent did not last on the skin. The product is moisturizing and non-greasy, it absorbed into the skin fairly quickly. My only concern with the product is the fragrance ingredient, I’m not sure if it’s synthetic or natural. I emailed Scentuals, they did indicate the only fragrance in the product is cranberry. The other citrus smells are essential oils like Sweet Orange and Lemon. This may be why the smell of cranberry is faint. My guess is a small amount of cranberry fragrance is used. White Cranberry – Natural Exfoliating Sugar Scrub Description:

“Reveal your best skin ever with our natural exfoliating scrub. Made with nourishing body oil, mineral rich sea salt and sugar, to gently slough away dry, rough skin, leave your skin smoother and softer than ever before.”

My Thoughts: The sugar scrub was a nice treat to add to my shower routine. Once I washed my hair and body, the scrub added much needed moisture. It did not irritate or scratch my skin, but left it soft with hints of cranberry/citrus scent. I did not have to apply lotion to my skin after using this product. Ingredients like, avocado oil, argan oil, and rice bran oils locks moisture where my skin was lacking. Again, my only concern would be the fragrance ingredient, the rest of the ingredients are great!

Refreshing Goatmilk – 100% Natural Soap Description:

“Refresh your mind and revive your body with the invigorating scents of peppermint and spearmint.”

My Thoughts: This soap is so refreshing, it left my skin feeling soft and not dry. Ingredients like Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, and Olive Oil really moisturize the skin. The peppermint and spearmint leaves within the soap were a nice treat and did not irritate my skin. I do wish the soap lathered a little more, but that’s my personal preference. All in all a great soap to add to your collection.

My Thoughts: My favorite of all the products were the natural lip tints! They are so moisturizing with an added bonus of not clinging to dry patches. Score!

Bombshell: “a classic merlot red with natural cherry flavour. ” Bombshell is a beautiful red/berry color that’s not too overpowering but fancy enough for a night out on the town. The cherry flavour was a hit, not only did I have beautiful color to my lips but also the sweet taste of cherry was amazing. Don’t be surprise if your partner tries to steal a kiss!

Sultry: “a sexy shimmery bronze with natural cinnamon flavour.” Sultry is a must have in my purse this coming fall and winter. A shimmery bronze color that’s not too dark or light. The lip tint is the perfect combination of brown and red with added shimmer. A kick of cinnamon adds fuzzy feelings for fall. I can’t wait!

Passion: “a sophisticated earthy pink with natural citrus flavour.” This has been my summer go to color. It compliments every skin tone with the perfect flush of pink and berry color. The citrus flavour is not over powering, just enough to awaken your lips with hints of orange and lemon flavour. Passion is perfect for any season!

Flirt: “an innocent soft pink with natural rose flavour.” This color screams Spring and Summer! It’s a beautiful sheen color with a pop of bubble gum pink. It’s the perfect shade when I’m not wearing too much makeup, but still need a pop of color. The Rose flavour aroma makes me feel romantic and sweet!
